Must be exactly 17 digits, 9th digit must be 0--9 or 'X', and cannot contain characters 'I', 'O', or 'Q'.

We recommend acquiring the VIN directly from the vehicle's VIN Plaque on the dash, or the certification label in the door jamb since insurance and service documents are sometimes incorrect.

Purchased Advantage tune for our 2019 Traverse AWD.    Installing the tune was very smooth - no hitches at all!

Did some  informal before /after performance testing with an OBD data-logger my son had.    Before testing with 87 octane fuel, was seeing an average calculated 1/4 mile time of  15.9 seconds at 92 mph.   The after data with 93 octane averaged 15.5 seconds at 95mph.   Again this was informal data from a datalogger ,  however tried very hard to make 3 identical runs before and 3 runs after.  Then averaged for the above before/after data.

However; the main reason I purchased this was to improve the transmission's shifting performance (the OEM shifting was VERY soft, and the and downshifts seemed delayed with occasional hunting for the best downshift gear.  Mission accomplished - it no longer feels like a CVT tranny !    With light throttle driving it still shifts very smooth.   However under heavier throttle the shifIs firm up and it holds gears a bit longer.  The downshifts are much better, I would describe them as "deliberate".

And the other bonus: the dreaded auto-stop feature is no more  🙂

2022 Traverse AWD

The Traverse really came alive at lower RPMs. Definitely more power and the transmission feels equally tuned to match. I was pleased when they told me that the tune is active when I turn adaptive cruise off. When using adaptive cruise it's in stock tune and stop/start is enabled again. You could say there's cruise mode and sport mode. I'd say "for best results" turn off traction control, just my experience. I also notice quite a difference between 87 and 93, so I have basically only run 93 since getting the tune.  For MPG, we frequently see 30+ in the DIC. I would like to calculate MPG and add to this review (stock tune vs. trifecta). I really can't say enough about the customer support and open dialogue. I inquired about H-rated tires and they were able to write the tune for that specific tire rating. I already had the K&N air filter and they said that was fine. They were happy to hear that I'm running 93 and getting the most out of the tune.

I am thrilled with the TRIFECTA Advantage tune for my 2018 Traverse. This ECU calibration completely improved the power and transmission of my vehicle. It feels much more responsive and eliminates the lazy shifting of the tranny. Disabling the Auto Stop/Start is also a welcomed edition. I am a happy customer and appreciate the quick buying process with all the needed documentation for installation.

2021 chevy traverse LFY 3.6

Tune makes a big difference pulls harder shifts are firmer quicker and will hold a gear longer then stock. Auto start stop is disable and no more annoying off on at about every stop light. Trifecta support team is great and answer all my questions and concerns. Would highly recommend

I am completely satisfied with the tune for our 2018 Traverse High Country. The auto start/stop has finally been disabled (no more manually shifting to L9 every time it goes into gear) and the engine/transmission seem to be working together for more of a performance experience rather than the stock fuel efficiency programming. No need for premium fuel either, I continue to use quality 87 octane and enjoy the performance benefits.

Once understood, the reprogramming was quick and easy. The tune also came with a copy of the OEM software, so if I ever wanted to revert back, I can do it in just minutes.

Thank you Trifecta!
