TRIFECTA presents: Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra (Gen V V8, 5.3L, 6.2L) MY2014--2018+ Powertrain Calibration Reprogramming (flash tune)
TRIFECTA is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the 2014--2018 Chevrolet Silverado / 2019 Silverado LD and 2014--2018 GMC Sierra / 2019 Sierra Limited vehicle software recalibration (reflash) for vehicles utilizing either the 5.3L V8 or the 6.2L V8 with either the 8 speed automatic transmission (8L90 / RPO:M5U) or the 6 speed automatic transmission (6L80 / RPO:MYC). Two wheel drive (2WD), four wheel drive (4WD) and all wheel drive (AWD) variants are supported. Specific gains over factory calibration are up to (uncorrected) 45lb-ft of torque and 19 horsepower with no vehicle modifications beyond the updated software calibration.

TRIFECTA's 2014--2018 / 2019 Limited full size truck recalibration is complimented by a fully developed 6-speed or 8-speed (depending on application) automatic transmission calibration to support the increased power delivery profile and to offer dramatically improved driving characteristics from everyday driving maneuvers to towing and hauling. The complete powertrain calibration also includes ESC (Stabilitrak) and, for four/all wheel drive (4WD/AWD) equipped models, TCCM (transfer case control module) program enhancements.

All 2014--2018 / 2019 Limited full size truck calibrations also include TRIFECTA's exclusive "tri-mode" DSVM (driver selectable vehicle modes). Choose between TRIFECTA Sport mode, tow/haul mode, or ECO mode, on the fly using existing vehicle controls (see full details below).

Specifications of the TRIFECTA Performance 2014--2018 / 2019 Limited full size truck ECM software reprogramming:
Fuel economy is improved (up to 2.4MPG observed), dependent on fuel grade and driving conditions Retains all GM OE diagnostics and ECM functionality Retains all OE error code reporting and functionality Emissions readiness checks are present; emissions compliant Maintains functionality of ABS and TC systems Knock detection mechanisms and OE engine knock detection sensitivity is retained Return to stock functionality included with EZ Flash cable and software Full flex-fuel / E85 features retained Tested on all available grades of fuel (87, 89, 91, 92, and 93 octane) and ethanol blends from 10% to 85%
TRIFECTA Performance Active Fuel Management (PAFM)

The L83 offers V8/V4 mode. GM has succeeded in making V8/V4 transitions (AFM, or Active Fuel Management as GM calls it) extremely smooth, such that in most cases they can't be noticed. However, some customers may have exhaust or other modifications that cause the truck to produce an undesirable exhaust note while in V4 mode. TRIFECTA exclusively offers three options with regard to adjusting AFM parameters with this product:
AFM available/active in all drive modes (default) AFM disabled in Sport mode AFM disabled entirely

Firstly, this company is phenominal! The customer service and quick response is worth the tune hands down. Secondly, the power i get from sport mode never ceases to amaze me. From a dead stop I can disable traction control and punch the accelerator in sport mode to lose myself a little tread. Additionally, my truck has the Bi-Modal engine which means while cruising it hits 4 cyl regularly and will sometimes shift back and forth to 8 cylinders and 4 cylinders to save on either power or fuel economy. This presents a few problems. On the stock setup the truck tended to have an occasional "Hard shift", which means that if it was going back into 8 cyl mode at the same time as the transmission was shifting gears you might think someone just bumped you from behind. It was truly a HARD shift. I have also seen a lot of discussion about the bi-modal setup being hard on the oil pump and more specifically causing the vehicle to burn oil later in it's lifecycle. To remedy all of these issues i asked a representative if they could tune my truck to NEVER go into 4 cyl mode. They did and man i have to tell you, what a difference it has made. Im talking no more hard shifts, no more lag between acceleration when in 4 cyl mode. Plus the fuel economy has only been effected by coming down from about 16.5-17 mpg to 16 mpg. The 4 cyl mode just wasn't worth it in my opinion. However the Trifecta Tune I purchased has REALLY been worth the price and I couldn't be happier. I just wish I could get a little sticker or decal for my back window. For sure worth the purchase. If you are on the fence, get this one!

I have a 2018 Silverado and this tune has definitely improved the drive quality of the truck. I was mostly looking for something to disable the AFM system as there's a noticeable resistance felt when the motor switches to V4, also causing hard shifts when going up long, slight inclines (where the motor is constantly switching back and forth between V4 & V8). Not only has this tune eliminated that, but the truck hardly shifts going up any hill now, even if I decide to heavily accelerate half way up the hill. The shift timing has been greatly improved and the truck feels like it has the power it should.

Recently modified my 2018 Silverado LT 4x4 with a 6in BDS Coilover Lift,  35" Toyo Open Country R/T, Gibson Sport performance Exhaust, and Yukon 4.56 Gears.  Was looking for a solution to recalibrate speedometer and this took care of that plus more.  It brought the life back into the truck.  Sport mode is fun but obviously sacrifices fuel economy.  Eco mode is very smooth but still has great acceleration.  Definitely worth the money.

Worth Every Penny

This tune is worth the money for the improved 6-speed transmission performance alone. Shift speed and timing is greatly improved (without being harsh) and the low speed shift pattern is much more logical- no more surging in stop and go traffic. I can also feel a marked power increase with better throttle response at any speed and less interference from torque management. Before, the stock ECU seemed to slowly ramp up power when I hit the gas, now the power is instantly on. The truck even runs and sounds better in v4 mode, something I didn't expect. Gas mileage is the same as before the tune. I didn't want to sacrifice the truck's decent mileage for more power and it turns out I didn't have to. I'm completely happy with the tune and highly recommend it.
