TRIFECTA presents: the "fastest Cadillac CTS V-Sport in North America" (as of January 24th 2014). The TRIFECTA Performance Cadillac CTS V-Sport LF3 MY2014 powertrain calibration is an easy to install software performance recalibration with an EZ Flash cable device that will yield estimated gains of up to +81 ft-lbs and +74 WHP to a completely stock Cadillac CTS V-Sport LF3 MY2014 (fuel quality requirements must be met). With linear and immediately responsive power delivery, all OE diagnostics and emissions readiness checks are present and function per OE specifications.
TRIFECTA's LF3 ECM recalibration is complimented by a fully developed 8-speed Aisin transmission calibration to support the increased power delivery profile. The complete powertrain calibration also includes ESC (Stabilitrak) and eLSD (electronic Limited-Slip Differential) program enhancements.
TRIFECTA's powertrain calibrations are tested and validated for various environments, such as cold/heat, elevation, and variations in fuel quality. Each vehicle type is validated on TRIFECTA's test fleet via long term cumulative mileage testing and extended high load dyno testing prior to retail release. TRIFECTA Exclusive CTS V-Sport Calibration Features

TRIFECTA's Cadillac CTS V-Sport calibration includes many features that are both desired, and exclusive to TRIFECTA's calibration:

Standard Tour Mode (STM)

The V-Sport offers several different drive modes from the factory such as Tour, Sport, Track and Winter / Snow / Ice modes. TRIFECTA's custom operating system modifications allow us to optionally (but included by default) offer Tour mode which limits horsepower and torque output to levels very similar to the factory levels. This feature is very useful if the vehicle is driven by others who would prefer the vehicle to operate like it does from the factory. Drive modes can be changed on the fly, and as such, the driver may select any mode, at any time.
Vehicle Mode Default/Persist Configuration
When selecting drive modes such as Tour or Sport, the factory calibration will "remember" which mode was in use the last time the vehicle was shut down.   Track mode, nor Winter Mode persist after the vehicle is shut off on the factory calibration.

The TRIFECTA calibration extends which modes can be "remembered", adding Track and Winter modes to the list of persistent modes. 

If desired, the vehicles default mode may also be set to the users preference, so that the car is already set to the desired mode after flashing the ECM, or if vehicle power is disconnected then reconnected.  e.g. The car normally starts in Tour mode after an ECM reflash.  This feature can make it start in any desired mode.  After the initial power-up, the car will simply remember the last mode that was used and start in that mode.

For enthusiasts who drive the car exclusively in Track mode, this significantly minimizes the amount of button pushing required in your "pre-flight" checklist!
 
Active Rail Pressure Management (ARPM)

Worried about DI (direct injection) rail pressure when turning up your boost? TRIFECTA's Active Rail Pressure Management (ARPM) engine control module (ECM) operating system customization allows higher boost levels to be achieved while actively monitoring the DI fuel rail pressure and reducing boost, if a drop in rail pressure is predicted, based on past and present operating conditions. TRIFECTA Bi-directional Enhanced Knock Control and Zoning

Whether anybody wants to believe it, or not, “knock”, defined as noise detected by the knock sensors, is going to occur from time to time. Generally this occurs when there's a transient change in fuel quality, or operating conditions. While the factory's knock control constructs are advanced, they make certain assumptions about how, and in which direction to adjust knock factor when knock is detected. The factory knock control strategy on the Cadillac CTS V-Sport uses one zone only, encompassing the entire RPM range, and engine load range. TRIFECTA's Cadillac CTS V-Sport calibration utilizes six zones and allows for finer self-adjustment when dynamic timing adjustments are needed. Furthermore, TRIFECTA's enhanced knock control employs an “ongoing” strategy which retains learned knock factors even after the engine is shut down, and continues to use them the next time the engine is started. Bi-directional knock control allows the ECM to begin its knock adaptation in the middle of the timing adjustment map, rather than always assuming it's running “high octane” fuel and potentially exposing the engine to audible knock.
In cases where a "bad tank" of gas drastically skews this long term self-adjustment, we have implemented a means of resetting the feature back to its initial setting via clearing codes using any OBD2 scanner, including the Code Scanner feature within EZ Flash.   This is in lieu of re-flashing the ECM, which would accomplish the same.

The Trifecta Tune has significantly enhanced this amazing car into a full blown sleeper out on the road. Not only can you feel the additional power across the entire rpm range, but the transmission retune has definitely improved shift times and overall shift feel and quality. I have noticed no significant decrease in mpg for all the additional hp and tq, and have over 30K miles since installation without any issues.

 

The team at Trifecta have been quick to respond with any questions I have, and provide amazing customer service. I would highly recommend this tune to anyone with hesitation.

I was a little skeptical about doing this tune...Wow, not any more!  Does this tune ever wake up a car that was already pretty entertaining to drive.  The shift points are spot on now and, oh my goodness, does the car ever pull now!  An amazing transformation.  Those poor rear tires...  My wife laughed at me when I walked into the house after my, post tune, test drive saying "well, someone sure looks happy."  My grin was from ear to ear (and that's a big grin when you have a head the size of a car battery).

Great job Trifecta!  Super impressed and very pleased.  Thank you!

If you're still debating stop whether or not to buy this stop and buy it right now. It is WELL worth the money. I am VERY pleased with the difference it made on my Vsport.

I am a two time customer of Trifecta. I bought the tune first for my 2016 ATS -V and loved it and the customer support. After I sold that car 3 years later, I bought a 2nd tune from Trifecta for my 2019 CTS – V Sport. The performance of the cars was greatly increased and the customer service and support is 5 star always. They made changes per my requests and due to my vehicles availability to be geared to how I drive with no additional charges. They asked to check my intercooler to ensure that it was/is working properly on their own. Trifecta wants you to be happy with their products. I am very happy with them and recommend 100. Great deal for the money.

Hey everyone at Trifecta. I would just like to say one thing; OMG. My 2018 CTS VSport TT Luxury responded to the tune above and beyond my expectations. Simply put, the the car woke up! I would always run the in the stock performance mode just to feal the car perform. I flashed the firmware, took it for a early morning grocery run, and was blown away. Now, I can run in Performance mode and seriously surprise BMW's, Mercs, and other 4-door performance sedans. The launch and 2-3rd gear 0-60 defiantly was seriously improved by at lease .5-.7 seconds pushing the car 0-60 in to the high 3's. Now its all about a drivers capabilities. I feel this was the best investment $ to horse power and torque money can buy when you are building a performance car. Next year I am doing the turbo upgrades and wounder if can I reflash with the turbo mods?

I was considering upgrading to a newer V, but value wise the current market just doesn't make it a reasonable choice.  I decided to just freshen up the current V-sport and enjoy it a little longer.  My OEM exhaust had a bad rattle, so I had a local shop replace it with some Flowmaster 4x9 ovals.  The next step was loading this tune.  But-dyno is now a "Whoa Nellie" event.  The extra turbo boost creates a no joke experience.  I just crossed 50k miles, so I should have scratched the itch enough to last at least until 80k.  Highway passing speed is now a broad-grin event.

I'm not a computer guru so it took a few hours to get it downloaded onto my laptop. The upload took less than than 10 minutes. Moral of the story: if I I can load it, anybody can! The test drive was flawless, started right up and drove perfectly normal. Normal until you put your foot in it.  Let's face it, this tune makes several changes to your car but the real reason you buy it is the boost increase. Well,  you won't be disappointed and it's worth every dime. It transformed my Vsport sleeper into an outright beast! What are you waiting for?

Installed the tune file on a 2016 Cadillac VSport with 50K miles a couple of days ago. It was easy to upload to the car and it took only about 10 minutes. I like the stealth mode option because my vehicle is still under extended warranty. So far the car is running very good. Acceleration and shift points are smooth and flawless. I like the power gains. You get what you pay for with this tune.

Incredible!  Really!  This tune is exactly what the 2014-2019 Cadillac CTS V Sport needs.  Tons of power through all of the gears.  My friend has a 2016 CTS V Sedan (6.2L LT4 Supercharged) and my V Sport is not far behind it in performance at all.  With the Trifecta tune, the car is a whole new driving experience allowing for performance that rivals some of fastest rides on the road!

Let me start off by saying prior to the Trifecta this car is a beast, after the Trifecta it's a beast on steroids.  The tune is easy to install, I've had it on my vehicle for a year know and I've had ZERO problems with the car.  The customer service is excellent hands down!!!  If you are looking to beef up your VSport Trifecta is the only option I would select.

First let me start by saying the tune by Trifecta is second to none. It makes the car feel how it should from Cadillac. The difference is NIGHT and DAY. Their customer service is amazing and they review logs fast. The drivability of my Cadillac has been drastically enhanced with the Trifecta Tune. Heck, The power increase can be felt immediate. The power delivery is smooth, deceptively smooth. The car literally pulls WAY harder and does it without any drama. The engine rev’s faster and the acceleration has been improved, especially at higher speeds.

 The throttle response has also been greatly improved. The accelerator pedal actually feels like it is connected to the throttle blade. The throttle response is crisp, direct, and immediate.. I’m impressed. No easy task.

 Overall, the Trifecta Tune is an impressive upgrade and has made my car much more fun to drive!!!!

 I highly recommend Trifecta! I’ll definitely be doing business with them in the future!

I don't race or speed on the roads, that said having the option of a tuned engine that performs better than stock is a great. The HP gains coupled with tuned transmission is a must for any auto enthusiast.

 

Off topic but relevant.

Heat soak and high ambient temps hurt performance so there is a need to upgrade the inter-cooler system. This is problem even for the stock tune. In my opinion Cadillac did not design the inter-cooler system for medium to high ambient temps which is a huge disappointment since this is one of the best chassis and engine combinations.

 

Keep up the good work on the V-Sport

Works great. Boost is up to 18, and transmission shifts better.

I want to say it added 45 rwhp, because of the 5 extra pounds

Of boost.. if it traps 114-115 mph though the 1/4, I’ll be certain.

I had been looking for quite some time for a product to give me a slight boost in performance with no luck. No one had yet to make serious performance upgrades for the CTS-Vsport. Why? I had no idea, until I found Trifecta. I had heard about Trifecta tunes before but had never given it a shot. My car is running amazing now, throttle response has significantly increased, I can actually feel the power increase tremendously, shifts are smooth without too much of a jerk. Now it is on to the next level of my search for upgrades. No one really has a clue on what a Vsport is usually, so it makes for the perfect sleeper. Thanks Trifecta for all that you guys do.

I took a chance and ordered this for my 2015 Vsport, and let me tell you that you will not be disappointed! It now has pull that is linear, and your butt dyno will feel the surge of the increased torque off the line. Further, I am not tech savvy and they offered first class support to walk me through some of my questions. I strongly recommend this to all Vsport owners, as it brings an already phenomenal car to a whole new level, It is an incredible bang for the buck. You will thank yourself later.

Really happy with the tune for my CTS V Sport. I have been also very impressed by level of customer support that the Trifecta has given to their customers pre and post purchase. A few customers requested a modified tune for our vehicles and Trifecta made it available to all of us at no additional cost. The tune itself is amazing. The boost comes on earlier and peaks at 18psi. The transmission calibration really helps the Aisen 8 speed. I don't find it hunting for the right gear constantly and it also holds gears a lot better. The tune is straightforward to apply and can be easily removed. Money well spent.

I have had Trifecta's tune on my 2014 CTS Vpsort since purchasing the car new a year ago. It now has about 19,000 trouble free miles. The tune totally transforms the car. So much so that I requested that they offer a tour stock mode so my wife could drive it without all the extra power. Having received other similar requests they graciously developed a revised tune that returned the tour mode setting to stock at no cost and within just a few days.All other modes (Sport, Track) have the tune. Quite impressive. I am exceeding pleased with their product and customer service and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good, safe aftermarket tune.

Trifecta's package has taken my car from very good to superb. I can hardly wait to drive it each day.

 

Not only is there noticeably more power, but the transmission behaves much better than stock.

As we all know the VSport is a great car straight from the factory. When you add the Trifecta tune it turns the car into a beast. My experience from purchase to install has been nothing but exceptional and professional. They answered all my questions and concerns prior to the purchase and any follow up questions in a timely manner. Knowing how much research and testing they did prior to releasing the tune gave me lots of confidence in their product. The fact that they also addressed the transmission as part of the tune is a huge plus. In my opinion you cannot go wrong purchasing this tune for the VSport, best bang for the buck!

I've had my Trifecta tune in my 2014 CTS V-Sport for nearly a year. The original tune for about 9 months and a stock Touring version since. I've driving mostly in Houston miles but have spent a weekend at Texas World Speedway where I was instructing with PCA. The car is a beast compared to stock. This SEEMS to be done mostly with boost, but the other parameters including the transmission work seamlessly to be factory-like. You will experience a touchy throttle tip-in at first, but your body will acclimate with time. I heartily recommend this tune to all CTS V-sport owners without hesitation. The car wakes up and becomes a total Q-ship. Well done Trifecta.

I have had my tune for quite some time now and have been meaning to leave a review for months!!! I absolutely love what this tune did for an already amazing car. I was completely blown away by the immediate difference in throttle response and the transmission shifts so much more aggressively but appropiately. You never feel like there is anything that has been modified that will cause a problem with driveability either. Basically this tune releases all the potential of this car without needing any other modifications. I had zero problems installing it using the supplied instructions and cable. I have a lot of boosted and modified vehicles and this is the most power for the money I have ever gotten. If you have this car you need this product!

If you have a V sport you need this tune!!! It transforms the V sport into a total beast!!! Well worth the money! The ability to leave the touring mode stock was really important for me for those weekend trips with the wife and kid. The Trifecta team was amazing and answered all of my questions in a timely manner.

I have had the Trifecta tune for about 2.5 years and love it. It gives your Vsport a much appealing performance. The change in calibration of the transmission is great. 

Lately I have been driving it in Sports mode and have experienced improved gas mileage in the city and on long-hauls, even though you can easily loose it by a few quick passes or red-light stops (but that happens in std touring mode as well).

This is probably the cheapest bhp you can buy! I take it in to the dealer or regular services with the tune installed and never had any problems.

Besides the performance enhancement, the crew at Trifecta are absolutely outstanding when it comes to customer service!!

I am so impressed with the tune by trifecta performance. My 2014 cts v premium not only being extremely awesome and quick with awesome power I read alot of reviews about the tune before purchasing 12/01/2019 and all the reviews were on point. So I took a leap of faith and besides being extremely easy to apply the tune it has outrageous gains in power and torque actually I'm speechless and so amazed. The response time from trifecta when a question or concern is simply on point. Anyone looking to do a tune an unleash the beast definitely want go wrong from tour  mode it's a beast and remains at the stock settings although mine appears to be a tab more responsive but settle but going to sport or track it just simply changes to a monster so proud of my ride you can flat out tell the difference in the shifting of the transmission to to power and torque the turbos really spool up and just get wicked you definitely cant go wrong this is real talk

Acquired my CTS Vsport with 40k on the odometer and was thrilled with the car as it was. After poking around on some forums the Trifecta tune kept coming up so I thought I’d give it a try and purchased on Black Friday. Shipping was quick arriving in only 3 days and installation was a quick 15 minutes. All I can say is WOW!! Initially had a misfire to which the folks at Trifecta recommended some hotter burning plugs which I swapped along with the coils and what a difference above stock. This car was intended to be a second ride with my truck my daily driver but I think the truck is getting jealous now, I have a hard time not hopping in the car and mashing the pedal. Trifecta tune is highly recommended from this guy!
