Also love my 2013-2015 Body style vs 2016 and up. Hence if possible I would love to invest say $4500 on the new 8 speed or 9 speed transmission. Now from what I've read in different spots the 2013-2015 models have a week spot in the transmission that will not allow the engine to be tuned above 325 hp as it will destroy the transmission. Is this the same with the 8 or 9 speed? So of possible to get 400 hp and still have the engine reliable with the 8 or 9 speed I'm in!!!!

I would love to know if the new 8 speed transmission would be compatible with my 2013 Malibu ltz.
